Are you passionate about mobile app development and want to work in an innovative, dynamic environment? At Balzo we are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our team of experts and help create advanced technology solutions in the telemedicine and healthcare sector. You will have the opportunity to work with wearable devices and cutting-edge technologies for health monitoring and prevention.

Who you will work with and what you will do

You will join an interdisciplinary team, collaborating on the design and development of Android applications integrated with wearable devices and advanced platforms for managing biometric data. You will be involved in developing innovative solutions that combine machine learning, big data and artificial intelligence to improve access to and the quality of healthcare services.

What we are looking for

  • Education: degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: at least 5 years developing mobile applications in structured environments.
  • Languages and frameworks: Kotlin, Java.
  • Advanced programming: Coroutines, Dependency Injection, RxJava.
  • Software architectures: MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture.
  • Testing: experience with tools such as Espresso and Unit Testing.
  • CI/CD: familiarity with tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
  • Networking and persistence: REST APIs, Retrofit, Room.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Dagger/Hilt for dependency injection.
  • Use of Jetpack Compose for building UIs.
  • Advanced knowledge of Firebase (Crashlytics, Analytics, Remote Config).

What we offer

  • Contract: 1-year fixed-term with a gross annual salary of €40,000, with the possibility of renewal.
