Balzo SRL, as Data Controller, informs visitors to the website www.balzo.eu (hereinafter also the “site”) about the types of cookies used by the site and the purposes pursued with the information collected, and also provides clear and transparent guidance on how to select/deselect individual cookies.
What cookies are and what they are used for
Cookies are small text strings that the website sends to the User’s device (usually to the browser), where they are stored and then sent back to the same site on the User’s next visit (so-called first-party cookies). They are therefore a tool that helps the Controller provide the service according to the various purposes pursued. Some of these purposes may also require the User’s consent; such consent may be freely withdrawn at any time by following the instructions in this document. While browsing the site, the User may also receive on their device cookies sent by other websites (so-called third-party cookies). Types of cookies
Cookies may last for a single browsing session only (so-called session cookies) and be deactivated automatically when the browser is closed, or they may have a predetermined expiry date (so-called persistent cookies) and remain active until that date, thus continuing to collect information over several browsing sessions. To give a complete description of these tools, further distinctions must be made based on their technical characteristics. Cookies are in fact used for different functions: some are necessary to allow the User to browse the website and use its features (technical cookies); others are used to obtain statistical information, aggregated or not, on the number of Users accessing the site and on how the site is used (so-called analytics cookies); others still are used to track the consumer’s profile and display advertising consistent with the User’s tastes and consumption habits (so-called profiling cookies).
Which cookies are used and for what purposes
The following types of cookies are currently used on this site:
- Technical cookies, used to enable the operation and the secure and efficient browsing of the site, save the session and carry out other activities strictly necessary for the site to function, and to save the User’s preferences and optimize their browsing experience;
- Analytics cookies, treated as technical cookies when they are used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of Users and on how they visit the site, in order to improve the performance of the web page;
- Profiling cookies.

The technical cookie is always active because it is needed to remember your choice. Google Analytics cookies are set only if you click “Accept” on the banner: if you click “Reject”, or until you make a choice, the site does not load any Google service.
